Rapid growth on technology has push mobile communication evolve from AMPS, GSM / CDMA, and now the hottest technology in some countries, 3G . Of course the evolution itself has put major advantage in human life and each of this technologies has each strength and weakness and its development is influenced by each countries mobile population behavior. If your country has more than 1 technology mentioned above, the main thing you should consider is, again, which technology applied best with your daily life. For example, 3G will give your more speed access on mobile internet and feature like video calls, but if you don’t need to travel so much while you browsing (mostly you do internet connection at home at its connection satisfy enough) and you dislike displaying your face while make calls, why bother move to it, because most of the feature will eat more cost at you and also need to change your mobile phone type to support the services.
